[ooc: The current plan is to have the log go up on March 25th, forward-dated. All are invited to eat, drink and make merry!]

[ Baldr is always prompt, but admittedly the offer of tea hurries his steps a little more. It would be incredibly rude to be late enough that the tea had a chance to get cold or oversteep. Baldr breathes in the always-pleasant jumble of culinary scents in The Lady of Bliss as he steps inside and looks around for the bride-to-be. ]
Madhuri-san?

Ooh, you're quick... please, make yourself at home. I'm just about ready with everything!

I hope you didn't put yourself to any trouble for it. Is there anything I can help with?

[For sugar, for honey, to stir the milk if needed... that's the ticket. She used her tail to ease the waist-high barrier and hold it as she took up the tray and brought it over.]
How are you? I know this swinging weather pattern of late has driven a few with early spring fever...!

[Baldr folded his hands behind himself to keep from fidgeting them, although his eyes followed the progress of the tray intently. Appreciation for her cooking, of course; but there was a restlessness he couldn't quite stifle at having someone else do the serving.]

Right, here we are!
[She even pulled a chair out for him! Sorry, Baldr.]
So our plans are... rather simple, honestly, on account of the both of us being removed from our cultures for purposes of necessity and occupation, but making our own thing from what we've experienced together.

[It absolutely would never have stopped Baldr. And surely the dreammotion of everyone gathered could do a little something about that, couldn't it?
He held onto that bright thought as his brow gave the slightest twitch at her gesture. Too gallant of her, really! But he managed to sink into the chair without further hesitation.]
Ah, thank you. —That sounds perfect. It's much more personal that way, isn't it? Something entirely your own, for both of you.

He's had to move around so much as well, so I wished to combine the places he's been and sprinkle in some of my own home.
[As flowers sprouted in her hair, she busied her hands with pouring the tea.]
He said I'd become 'family', so... w-well...

Then it's something like a celebration of the road each of you walked to find each other. How wonderful. Becoming family is what marriage is about, yes?

[She passed a cup to him, and worked after on her own.]
Unattainable, I suppose. Especially not with someone of such prestige...! To think he'd see little old me among everything...

I'm sorry to hear it. ...He must be very precious to you. [There was a pause before he continued, with blissfully oblivious hypocrisy:] But I think you hardly have reason to wonder why he would take note of you. You're a truly remarkable lady, as beautiful as you are kind and talented. If his position is so lofty, he's all the more fortunate to have you at his side.

You, Ser, are a flatterer. ...But you do speak similar as he says. I suppose we both think alike in that we feel we are most fortunate, rather than our partner.

Never. I merely speak the truth as I see it. ...But I think that's lovely. A relationship where you both feel blessed is one where you'll never forget to cherish each other, I believe.
